About This Site and Myself
Hi my name is Mitch and I love art. Ever since I was a kid art has always been a big part of my life. Since I was about 7 years old I wanted to be a video game artist, and I am lucky to say that video game art has been my career for the past 7 years!
In the past I've been an illustrator for a newspaper, a special effects artist, a video game art director, a graphic designer, a webmaster, a set designer, and a children's drawing instructor.
I lived in China for the past 5 out of 6 years where I was fortunate to be a part of a large team of 2D and 3D artists where we worked on a lot of different high profile video games for the world's largest companies. The one year I did not work in China, I worked in Hollywood on special effects for movies.
About 2 years ago I began to wonder how you could create a profitable website and I stumbled upon a system called SiteSell. If you are interested in making money online or want to create your own website I highly recommend their service. Without their fantastic training and tools DrawingCoach.com would not be possible.

I really enjoy the creative process and exploring new ways to express myself. Since I also enjoy computers this usually means that you can find me tinkering away on the computer with my tablet either learning new software or creating a piece of art. While I'm in work mode I especially like listening to trip hop, which for those who don't know is like hip-hop but without any words. It makes for a great environment that blocks out any noise around you, but is also distraction free because of the lack of words.
When I'm not at work or working on this site, I enjoy photography, journaling, playing guitar, camping, surfing the net and pretty much anything that sounds fun.
Lastly, I'd like to take this chance to thank everyone who has come to the site, as well as anyone who has emailed me with your kind comments. I really enjoy reading each and every one of them.
Best wishes for your artistic success!
