Paint.net - this software has been gaining speed over the last few years and I started getting some real attention. If you've ever used or seen Photoshop then you'll notice that the interface is quite similar which is cool because if you ever decide that you want to become a professional digital artist and make the switch over to that software you won't need to waste any time relearning the interface and workflow. Tux Paint may be the perfect option for you if you have never used any kind of computer drawing or painting software before.
